Otherwise if you travel within AT&T's native coverage, Cricket is completely a viable option, especially if you do delivery work cross-border. It uses T-Mobile, Sprint, and their roaming partners. The Nexus 6, 6P, and 5X are compatible with Project Fi. This of course is dependent on you having a compatible phone, or willing to finance once after signing up (It's a prepaid service, but Google lets you pay month-to-month on the phone for 24 months). When visiting my mother, it's the only service that gets signal due to roaming agreements, voice/sms only on a local regional carrier, Cricket does not. It might not get the roaming data, but it does get the domestic voice/text roaming agreements from the T-Mobile side. I would actually suggest Project Fi for roaming capabilities.
